Education and raising awareness of school community about the prevention of alcohol, tobacco and drugs

On December 12, Public Relations and Museum Education Section (coordinator: Natalia Popovici) organized for the students of the group 01 of the Professional School no. 9 from Chișinău an activity with the theme "Be aware, not addicted!". The non-formal activity relates to the implementation of the National Health Promotion Program for 2016-2020.

The objective of this meeting was to inform, educate, communicate and prevent the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and drugs among adolescents, promoting healthy alternatives to leisure.

On the debate were addressed issues about the causes of the consumption beginnings, the harmful effects associated with these vices which are detrimental to the good functioning of the consumer in the society and his mental health, the fate of some personalities which are reluctant users, curios data on the topic. The students also watched a short film about the "slaves of illusions" in the Republic of Moldova.

By engaging in information activities, the teenager of today can become a self-confident adult without inhibitions who is able to make the right decisions by himself.
