#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Exhibition dedicated to the Academy “Stefan cel Mare” of the Ministry of Internal Affaires

June 30 - July 12, 2015

On 30 June 2015, the National Museum of History of Moldova opened a temporary exhibition reflecting the history of the Academy "Stefan cel Mare" of the Ministry of Internal Affaires to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its founding.

The National Police Academy "Stefan cel Mare" that was established on August 17, 1990 by Resolution no. 276 of the Government of the Republic of Moldova is an institution of higher education with all levels of training established by the Bologna Process (bachelor's, master's, doctoral), accredited in the field of science and innovation by authorized organizations of national and international level. During its existence, the institution has trained over 20 000 specialists in law, public order and safety, which were employed in various divisions of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, National Anti-Corruption Center and other law enforcement bodies of the state.

The exhibition includes documents and pictures showing the establishment and the entire activity of this educational institution, photos of graduates, scientific papers and law books, insignia of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Academy as well as awards assigned to the Police Corps, uniforms, sports trophies won in various competitions, etc.
