The National Museum of History of Moldova, in partnership with Hilfswerk der Evangelisch-reformierten Kirche Schweiz (HEKS) Zurich - Chișinău Branch, is organizing the photography exhibition "International Day of Living Together in Peace", an invitation to reflect on fundamental values such as solidarity, respect, and social cohesion.
Through images captured during HEKS/EPER Moldova's activities, the exhibition documents authentic moments of mutual support and collaboration between Ukrainian refugees and host communities in Moldova. Each photograph reflects courage, empathy, and the willingness of people to build bridges beyond differences.
The exhibition is signed by Ramin Mazur, a documentary photographer known for his sensitivity and depth in approaching social themes. His works capture the human essence of interactions and the power of dialogue in the process of social inclusion.
HEKS/EPER is a Swiss non-profit organization that promotes human rights, social inclusion, and sustainable development. Founded in 1946, it supports refugees and migrants, provides humanitarian assistance, and implements development projects in various countries.
The materials were developed within the "Achieving Resilience Through Employment and Social Cohesion" project, implemented by Helvetas, HEKS/EPER Moldova, and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), with financial support from the Government of Switzerland and Swiss Solidarity.
The exhibition's vernissage will take place on May 16, at 11:00, in the courtyard of the National Museum of History of Moldova, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore these visual narratives in an open and accessible space.
The exhibition will be displayed on the museum's fence from May 16 to June 7, offering the public the opportunity to engage with the powerful messages conveyed through these images.
