#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Lecture „Marketing in Dutch Museums”

On March 1, 2013 in the Meeting Room of the museum Dr. Björn Stenvers (Netherlands), a museum marketing specialist, has presented the lecture "Marketing in Dutch Museums". Dr. B. Stenvers has described the path traversed by Dutch museums in the implementation of marketing in museum policies, highlighted issues and results, noting in particular the need for collaboration between museums for survival in the current economic downturn. He has stressed that any museum's work must be based on some of the marketing tools, such as material and technical basis of the institution, museum exhibition as a cultural product, museum shop, the result of certain investigations as scientific product, etc.
