#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Treasure hunt on International Family Day at NMHM

May 15, 2024

Under the motto "Families and climate change", the National Museum of History of Moldova hosted the International Day of the Family on May 15, 2024. Museographers Olga Andranovici and Natalia Popovici organized a treasure hunt among museum exhibits that make up ancient responses to climate change.

Participating visitors explored history together and investigated ancient secrets that hold answers for the future. With adventure kit in hand, parents and children, students and teachers collaborated to decipher messages from the past and find solutions to modern challenges.

Each discovery shed light on surprising connections, underscoring the importance of unity and understanding in current and future challenges. We are happy to reminisce about this experience and share memories, and our hope is that the spirit of adventure and learning will continue to guide us towards a brighter and more sustainable future.
