#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

„25 years and something”

10 – 13 March 2017

To mark 25 years of diplomatic relations between France and the Republic of Moldova, the Embassy of France organized in the lobby of the National Museum of History of Moldova a photo-documentary exhibition entitled "25 years and something".

The exhibition highlighted the Moldovan-French cooperation in various fields of common interest, not only during the past 25 years, but also before 1992.

The opening ceremony begun with short speeches by the French Ambassador to Moldova, Pascal Vagogne; Minister of Culture of the Republic, Monica Babuc and Vice-minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Daniela Morari, who noted the most important events of bilateral relations and the need to deepen the cooperation between the two countries.

At the anniversary event was presented the stamp with special obliteration "25 years of diplomatic relations Republic of Moldova - Republic of France" with the image of triumphal arches from the two capitals and the custom postage stamp developed by Poșta Moldovei on the occasion of the anniversary.

The event ended with a recital of French songs performed by students from the Lyceum "Gheorghe Asachi" from Chișinău.

The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Chișinău, the academic community, businessmen, and representatives of civil society.
