A remarkable new exhibition will enrich the rooms of the National Museum of History of Moldova with data and facts about the history of Moldova in hard times.
On October 5, at 12:00 PM, all visitors interested in contemporary history and political models are invited to a meeting dedicated to the opening of the temporary exhibition "Electoral propaganda during the Bolshevik-Communist totalitarian regime (Moldavian SSR, 1947)".
Materials displayed in the exhibition, such as archival documents referring to most of the localities from the Moldavian SSR, the mass media of that period praising the Bolshevik regime, secret notes written by servants of the system as well as recently published works, all will be analyzed and interpreted at a round table with the participants: historians, lawyers, students and all the visitors present at the event.
The author of the project is assoc. prof. dr. Simion Carp, the president of the Association of Police Academy Graduates and president of the Public Association "Military Traditions".
This is a unique opportunity to find out new information related to the electoral system in the Moldavian SSR and to make a proper comparison with the freedom of choice we have today.
All interested persons are welcome!
