13th Symposium of Heraldry

The 13th Symposium of heraldry will be held at the National Museum of History of Moldova (31 August 1989, no. 121 A, Chisinau) on April 24, 2019, starting at 10 AM .The symposium is organized by the Society for Genealogy, Heraldry and Archives "Paul Gore" in partnership with the National Heraldry Commission working under the President of the Republic of Moldova and the National Museum of History of Moldova.

Traditionally, in the program will be included 5 to 9 papers focusing on heraldry, vexilology, phaleristics, sigilography, uniformology and other connected sciences studying historical symbols, especially related to the history of Prut and Nistru interfluve.

Travel, accommodation and board are borne by the participants.

The symposium is held in Romanian language, but papers in Russian, French, English are also accepted with the condition of distribution of abstracts in Romanian among the participants. For each paper are reserved up to 30 minutes, of which 20 minutes are intended for presentation and 10 for discussions. Presentations in PowerPoint are welcome, which may also include abstracts in Romanian of papers presented in other languages. Please consider the possibility of publication in the yearly book "Heraldica Moldaviae" when writing and editing the papers.

All scholars interested to participate at the symposium should send the title of the presentation and an abstract in Romanian of up to 2000 signs to one of the e-mail addresses: silviu_tabac@yahoo.fr or anaboldureanu@yahoo.com. The deadline for submission of titles and abstracts is April 1, 2019 at 12.00.
