Activities dedicated to the International Day of Families
May 12, 2019
The International Day of Families is marked each year on May 15th. The role of this day is to emphasize the importance of all family members, whether parents, grandparents or brothers, and the importance of paternal education for the future of children.
On May 12th, the Section Public Relations, Museum Education offered the public a special fun and educational program - "Together at the Museum", which was addressed to both children and adults. The visitors have actively participated at the workshops organized for this purpose - "The mysteries of prehistoric ceramics", "Magic hands", "History and the art of writing" - as well as the interactive activity "From fragment to whole". In the activities were modeled clay pots and clay tablets, were written messages for loved ones on paper with ink, were made origami figurines of colored paper, and were reconstructed fortresses and faces of historical characters from puzzle pieces.
All group and family activities were a good opportunity to slow down the fast rhythm of life and transform an ordinary Sunday into a holiday.
