#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

"Christmas is more beautiful with sunshine!"

On December 18, the National Museum of History of Moldova hosted a beautiful event dedicated to the winter holidays. Organized in collaboration with A.O. "Sunshine" and Ivan Goncearuc, the celebration "Christmas is more beautiful with sunshine!" brought together children with Down syndrome and normotipical children who, together with their parents, took part in a special program, supported by the ethno-folk ensemble "Crenguța de Iederă", Georgeta Voinovan & Crescendo, the children's groups "Boom Kids" and "Speranța", Bubble Party Show etc.

Good and cheerful, Santa Claus turned everything into a story, giving those present smiles and many, many presents. The holiday brought to the museum the smell of the Christmas tree, sparkles of toys, music, merriment and happy children. It urged us to be kinder, more tolerant and kinder. However, friendship does not take into account the number of chromosomes...

The National Museum of History of Moldova is happy to host such events that bring positive emotions and smiles to the faces of our little visitors!
