The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Good Deeds Day 2025

May 11, 2025

On May 11, 2025, the National Museum of History of Moldova joined the global Good Deeds Day initiative, launched in Moldova by the Volunteer Center RVC, promoting generosity and solidarity.

This special day, celebrated in over 109 countries, serves as a catalyst for civic engagement, inspiring thousands of people in Moldova to contribute to positive change in their communities.

Visitors to the museum had the opportunity to take part in an interactive program organized by the Public Relations and Museum Education Department, which included guided tours, workshops, and interactive visits. Through these activities, the museum reinforced its role in promoting volunteerism and social responsibility.

Good Deeds Day represents an important step toward a more empathetic and united society, where every act of kindness helps build a brighter future. The National Museum of History of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that encourage community spirit and active participation in social life.
