Opening of the exhibition “30 years of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Moldova”

On July 21, the opening of the exhibition "30 years of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Moldova" took place at the National Museum of History of Moldova.
The exhibition presents the evolution of German-Moldavian relations and highlights the important stages of development and the key areas of this cooperation.
During the event, Dr. habil. Eugen Sava, General Director of the National Museum of History of Moldova and Kathrin Göring-Eckhardt, Vice President of the German Bundestag delivered greeting speeches. The German official mentioned that in the last 30 years, Germany has supported the consolidation of the Republic of Moldova in the European community of values through its long-term development and stabilization through sustainable reforms towards democracy and the rule of law.
"We want and will support the Republic of Moldova on its way to the European Union. During this exhibition we discovered impressive figures. More than 10 thousand students from about 80 schools in the Republic of Moldova study German. Between our countries there are city-level partnerships and cooperation between universities. This exhibition was previously presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, now it is here, it is a mobile exhibition. It will be presented in other locations, including outside Chisinau", added Ms. Göring-Eckhardt.
The event ended with the signing of a partnership agreement between the National Museum of History of Moldova and the German Embassy in Chisinau.
The exhibition "30 years of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Moldova" can be seen in the ground floor hall of the NMHM (31 August 1989 Street, no. 121 A) from July 21 to August 21, 2022.
