Handicraft Fair „Centuries-Old Crafts in Contemporary Vision”, the 2nd Edition

(May 15 – 20, 2010)

The fair brought together craftsmen representing traditional crafts: pottery, embroidery, crocheting, wood carving, jewellery making, etc. Visitors could watch the process of making of diverse handicraft articles. Potters, for example, show the whole process of implementation of ceramic objects: formation of an item using potter’s wheel, hand shaping, decorating, enamelling, and firing. Also there are demonstrating the manufacture of jewellery, knitted and crocheted articles.

Products made in traditional style and displayed in the exhibition could be not only admired, but purchased by visitors.
