From 27 November to 11 December 2025, the public is invited to visit the photography exhibition dedicated to the United Shakespeare 2025 International Theatre Festival - a cultural project that brings together images, emotions and unique moments captured during one of the most important theatrical events in Chișinău.
The festival, held from 14-19 October 2025, brought together 10 European theatres, alongside students, academics, professors and theatre professionals, who engaged the public in an open dialogue about the relevance and contemporaneity of Shakespeare's work. Events were hosted by Teatrul Fără Nume, the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the A. Chekhov Russian State Drama Theatre, and the Academy of Music, Theatre and Visual Arts.
The photographic exhibition features key moments from the festival: the 10 performances by theatres from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Spain and Italy, which reflect the performers' energy and the diversity of directorial interpretations inspired by William Shakespeare's works. Visitors are invited to discover a rich visual perspective on how Shakespeare continues to inspire generations of artists across Europe.
The "United Shakespeare 2025" exhibition can be visited from 27 November to 11 December 2025 on the railings of the National Museum of History of Moldova, Chișinău, Str. 31 August 1989, 121 A.
