#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

100 sidecars at NMHM

September 11, 2022

On September 11, took place one of the most unique events of the month of September, entitled 100 sidecars.

The event was organized by the National Museum of History of Moldova, Retromobile Moldova and Escobar Motors. Their goal was an ambitious one, to collect 100 motorcycles with sidecars in the NMHM courtyard.

The NMHM court brought together not only motorcyclists and their 3-wheeled jewels, but also a huge audience of all ages, who had the opportunity to know the history of each motorcycle, talk to their owners and of course, take a picture with them. Also, we were very happy to see a lot of children at the event, whose eyes sparkled with excitement to see so many beautiful motorcycles gathered in one place.

During the event, by voting, were chosen 3 most beautiful motorcycles with sidecars and their owners were awarded by the organizers. At the end, all the motorcycles went out on the streets of Chisinau, so that every citizen of the city gets to know a part of this beautiful manifestation.
