On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova, the National Museum of History of Moldova is hosting the exhibition "Moldova in Colors. #35Emotions", organized by BDR Associates Moldova in partnership with Cărturești. This exhibition is a project dedicated to art, education, and inclusion.
Students from Special School No. 12 in Chișinău, an institution for children with hearing impairments and late deafness, created 35 original works inspired by people, places, traditions, and the emotions that Moldova awakens in their hearts. The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 24 at the Cărturești Bookstore located inside the NMHM and will be open to visitors until August 31.
The initiative goes beyond the exhibition itself: the 35 paintings will be transformed into an exclusive collection of postcards, available in the Cărturești bookstore network. Proceeds from the sale of the artworks and the postcard collection will be directed to Special School No. 12, supporting inclusive education and the development of children's talents.
"Moldova in Colors. #35Emotions" continues the campaign "Talent that Speaks", launched in 2025, reaffirming the belief that talent deserves to be seen, encouraged, and shared. The exhibition invites visitors to discover the Republic of Moldova through the eyes of extraordinary children, for whom art becomes both a voice and a universal language.
The exhibition can be visited from August 24-31, 2026, on the ground level of the National Museum of History of Moldova, Chișinău, 121A 31 August 1989 Street.
