As part of the European Days of Jewish Culture, the National Museum of History of Moldova invites you to an exhibition dedicated to Jewish-origin artists from the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition features a selection of remarkable works that reflect the rich and complex essence of Jewish culture through the lens of visual art.
The event is organized at the initiative of the Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and development partners, as part of the National Festival "European Days of Jewish Culture," taking place from September 8 to 10, 2024. This festival includes a variety of activities such as film screenings, musical and theatrical performances, art exhibitions, conferences, and workshops, all officially registered on the platform "European Days of Jewish Culture 2024" (https://jewisheritage.org/aepj-events/festival-of-jewish-culture-in-moldova ).
The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 9, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at the National Museum of History of Moldova, located at 31 August 1989 St., no. 121A. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire works by renowned artists such as M. Brunea, I. Tihman, and E. Maidenberg, who have significantly contributed to the development of visual arts in Moldova.
The exhibition "Moldovan Jewish-Origin Artists" will be open to the public from September 7 to 14, 2024, at the National Museum of History of Moldova, Chișinău, 31 August 1989 St. 121A.
