#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

"Moments of Independence"

1 – 24 September 2023

A photo exhibition, dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, which is celebrated on August 24, is displayed on the outer fence of the National Museum of History of Moldova, along Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street.

The exhibition includes 32 photos of the famous Ukrainian photographers Yan Dobronosov, Hleb Haranich, Leonid Logvynenko, Andrii Marienko, as well as from the bases of the main world and Ukrainian media agencies, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, the ministries of defense, health protection, agrarian policy and food, education and science in Ukraine, etc.

The photographs capture moments of life in Ukraine today, its struggle for Independence and the difficult path to victory, restoration of peace, European security and world food stability.

The exhibition can be viewed between September 1-24, 2023, on the fence of the National Museum of History of Moldova on Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street.
