#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

„Selling art, not people!”

6–12 December 2016

National Museum of History of Moldova will host from December 6 till December 12, on the upper lobby, the fourth edition of an exhibition made by Moldova ATIP in framework of contest organized on the occasion of the European Day Against Human Trafficking.

The exhibition is part of an international campaign which enables Moldova ATIP and its partners to fight against serious social problems through art.

The exhibitions will have on display artworks made by students from high schools in Chișinău, Bălți, Cahul and Soroca which present the problem of violence and trafficking of human beings through their personal eyes.

The purpose of the event is to inform and motivate young people to engage actively against modern slavery though their talent, passion and energy; to prevent the spread of human trafficking and to foster a preventative behavior.
