#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2023

On May 28, the National History Museum of Moldova hosted a special event, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2023, the largest and most stylish motorcycle charity event in the world.

Attendees gathered in the museum courtyard to support a noble cause and contribute to prostate cancer research and men's mental health by donating on behalf of DGR's charity partner, Movember. The event was a success and gathered almost a hundred distinguished motorcyclists who rode their motorbikes with elegance and style. People were united by a passion for motorcycling and a desire to make a positive change in our community.

With smiles on their faces and in good spirits, the participants created an atmosphere full of joy and camaraderie. The event was an opportunity to meet new people, to share the passion for motorcycles.

Motorcyclists traveled special routes in the city, showing their support for the noble cause and attracting the attention of the townspeople. They were admired for their elegant and stylish appearance, embodying true distinguished gentlemen.

The National Museum of History of Moldova thanks everyone who participated in this special event and contributed to its success. We thank the organizers and will continue to appreciate and support such important initiatives, of which we are proud!
