#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Activities entitled "A Christmas Dream"

December 20th and 21st, 2014

During the holy feasts of Christmas, National Museum of History of Moldova together with handmade dolls creators of Moldova brought the celebration joy to disadvantaged children from socialization and rehabilitation center "House of Hope", Auxiliary school no. 7 of Chisinau and to several children from families in need of village Pojăreni from Ialoveni rayon.

Activities carried out on December 20 to 21, 2014, entitled "A Christmas Dream" gave children the opportunity to visit museum exhibitions, to manufacture paper and textile dolls in the framework of master classes organized by the artisans of handmade dolls, and to enjoy the gifts offered by the museum.

Christmas offers all of us the chance of giving and we are glad that we managed to bring a bit of happiness to these children.
