#Exhibit of the Month

The National Bank of Moldova annually issues commemorative or anniversary coins dedicated to various historical events, prominent cultural and scientific figures, the promotion of heritage and cultural traditions, architectural monuments, the flora and fauna of the Republic of Moldova, etc. A significant place in the coin series of the Republic of Moldova is held by those reflecting key milestones in the formation and development of our country. These coins are the subject of this mini-exhibition:

Creative recycling workshops

June 25th. 2015

For 30 children from the Chisinau Preschool Center "Lyuboznayka" there were organized two creative and educational workshops to develop an attitude of appreciation and respect for nature.

In these workshops children learned the art of folding paper - the recyclable material that is free for creation. They were excited to see how from a simple piece of paper that is no longer needed it is possible to create various inanimate objects or abstract decorative shapes. Children who participated in the workshops learned to design small figurines by folding the pages of old magazines, thereby prolonging the life of the paper.

These museum activities provide preschoolers with the opportunity to learn more about the environment, biodegradability and recyclability, as well as to develop common sense and imagination.
