Hallstatt cultural-chronological horizons of multilevel settlement Ivancea II

The article is dedicated to the publication of materials obtained in 1981 as a result of excavations at the multi-layer settlement Ivancea II, Orhei region, Republic of Moldova. In the course of works two horizons of the Hallstatt: early – Chișinău and late – Şoldănești were discovered on the site. As a result of the excavations an important collection of ceramics was obtained of this periods of time, remains of ground-based dwelling and household installations have been researched. Presence of two Hallstatt layers within the framework of one single settlement is a fairly rare occurrence for the country between two rivers.
